Things I Would Buy: For spring, if I wasn’t saving for a Burberry trench coat

… Burberry trench coats have become so expensive (I bought mine when they were like $850 a piece), so I’m holding strong on saving and I’m almost there. If I had less self-control, this is what I would buy for spring — the grand total for it all is still less than a trench coat 🙄.

Item(s):
1- MOTHER, the Ditcher Crop jeans in “Chalk Tapioca”

2- MOTHER, the Chin Ups tank in “Oatmeal”

3- Isabel Marant, Jings embellished sandals

4- Rag & Bone, Addison mini shopper

5- Missoni, Zig-zag knit dress

Reason(s):
1- Love MOTHER jeans and love how relaxed & loose the Ditcher pair look.

2- Those Ditcher jeans look so cool with their tank top in oatmeal on the model, and I mean there’s a “10% off your first order” if you sign up for their emails code and you could wear it with denim shorts too, so…

3- Not only would these sandals create a perfect monochrome outfit with that jean/tank combo, but they would be great with any spring sundress in your arsenal.

4- This Rag & Bone mini bag’s size and weight would be ideal for bopping around a city or wherever as the temperature starts to creep up and you wanna ditch your big ol’ heavy handbag… it also reminds me of that Chanel Cuba handbag that was too cute and, at the time, somewhat affordable compared to today’s Chanel handbag prices (I’m being sarcastic, but somewhat serious). This bag though? It’s a steal compared to any Chanel bag.

5- If it’s still too chilly out to wear this dress alone, you can easily throw on a pair of tights under it — then, when the weather gets super springy, you can put away your tights for next winter and wear it alone (well, still with a slip dress underneath). Would the Rag & Bone bag be too cringey crochet matchy-matchy with it? It would look pretty cute with it and a pair of Repetto ballet flats though…
